About the event
Why This Survey Matters
The Amawalk Outlet provides important habitat for wild trout within the Croton Watershed. Understanding where trout spawn and identifying active spawning habitat helps support future conservation, restoration, and stewardship efforts.
The Croton Watershed Chapter of Trout Unlimited (CWCTU) is organizing this combined redd survey and stream cleanup to identify active trout spawning habitat, support conservation projects, improve angler education, remove trash and debris, and help protect wild trout populations.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Whether you are an experienced angler, conservationist, or simply someone who enjoys healthy streams and clean water, your help can make a difference.
